WebThe definitive references on physical optics are either Principles of Optics, or Intro to Fourier Optics and Statistical Optics. They are both considerably harder. Intro To Fourier Optics is more conversational than Principles of Optics, a solid 2/5 on that scale instead of a 1/5.
