Web31 dec. 2011 · For the modified Weaver–Dunn Technique, 10 mm of the distal clavicle was excised. Two 1.6-mm drill holes were then made in the superior portion of the clavicle 3 mm from the distal end, exiting into the intramedullary canal. The coracoacromial ligament was then transected sharply from its acromial attachment. Webgical (modified Weaver-Dunn) and conservative treatment techniques for Rockwood type III ac-romioclavicular dislocation. Material and Methods: Thirty four patients with acromioclavicular dislocation were included in this study. The mean age was 43.6 ± 10.2 years (range 21-60). Modifi-ed Weaver-Dunn technique was performed on 17 patients.
